When I quit my corporate job. Being a virtual assistant is one of my plan. But honestly, I don't fully know how it works. I know you will do remote works but how to apply and be hired is what I need to learn. So when I saw an invite regarding a workshop. I eagerly signed-up. Luckily, I was included to be part of the event. The event was help at Bluefin Grill in Metro Walk, Pasig City. It started before 9am for registration up to 10am then it formally started. A prayer, welcome remarks and a jolly exercise took place at the initial part. I really enjoyed the program. I feel more comfortable since its not too formal. Ms. Roche, the major speaker is very approachable. All questions were answered clearly. Most of the time she shares her experiences to better explain a certain situation. She also shared her journey on how she became what she is now. Angela, one of Ms. Roche's former student also shares her journey as a VApreneur and how she transforms her passion on photography as her work. She's very soft-spoken and humble person. The discussion was very informative and the activity made it more interctive. I was amazed as everyone are very coopertive, yes, walang "KJ" (kill-joy). Sharing of answers and their stories made the workshop even more enjoyable. Payoneer's country manager was also present in the workshop. He explained how Payoneer works and helps VA's earn more on savings on bank charges. Before the end of the workshop, questions and answers took place. Still, the questions made us all enlightened on how VApreneur works and learn more on what it has to offer and how to deal with it. Help was aldo extended by Ms. Roche in case we still have questions after the workshop. At the end of the course, I am more inspired to be one of them. Not just a virtual assistant but as an VApreneur. Thank you Ms. Roche, MAS, Ms. Nice and Ms. Sharlane for another one of a kind experience. Looking forward on more learnings from all of you.
A fruitful weekend indeed.
